Le film retrace mon parcours de jeune photographe confronté aux dures réalités de la politique de mon pays lors de mon service militaire obligatoire de trois ans. Dans une base d’artillerie du désert du Néguev, armé d’un appareil photo argentique, je documente mon quotidien pour tenter de trouver une lueur d’espoir au milieu de la brutalité imposée.
The film retraces my journey as a young photographer confronted with the harsh realities of my country's politics during my three-year compulsory military service. In an artillery base in the Negev desert, armed with a film camera, I documented my daily life in an attempt to find a glimmer of hope in the midst of imposed brutality.
