Cyril Aris est un réalisateur et scénariste libanais, ainsi qu'un membre de l'Académie des Arts et des Sciences du Cinéma, et titulaire d'une maîtrise en Beaux-Arts de l'Université Columbia. Son documentaire Danser sur un volcan (2023), a été présenté en compétition officielle à Karlovy Vary, où il a remporté une mention spéciale du jury. Il a également été sélectionné en compétition au Festival du film de Londres, du BFI et au DOC NYC, remportant des prix du public à la Mostra de Valencia en Espagne et au Festival de Popoli en Italie, ainsi que le prix du meilleur film au Medfilm à Rome et des prix du jury à Budapest et au Cinémed en France. Son documentaire The Swing (2018) a été présenté à Karlovy Vary. Le Hollywood Reporter l'a qualifié de "méditation intime et émouvante sur la vérité, l'amour et le mensonge face à la maladie et à la mort". Son court métrage de fiction, The President's Visit (2017), a été présenté à Toronto (TIFF) et a remporté des prix à Dubaï, Nashville et auprès du National Board of Review.
Cyril Aris is a Lebanese director and screenwriter, as well as a member of the Academy of Cinema Arts and Sciences, and holds a Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University. His documentary Dancing on the Edge of a Volcano (2023), was presented in official competition at Karlovy Vary, where he won a Special Jury Mention. He was also selected in competition at the London Film Festival, BFI and DOC NYC, winning audience awards at the Valencia Film Festival in Spain and the Popoli Festival in Italy, as well as the Best Film Award at Medfilm in Rome and the Jury Awards in Budapest and Cinémed in France. His documentary The Swing (2018) was presented in Karlovy Vary. The Hollywood Reporter called it an "intimate and moving meditation on truth, love and lies in the face of illness and death". Anthony Sahyoun, également connu sous le nom de Mme Chandelier, est un compositeur, musicien et programmeur libanais. Il pratique surtout la musique électronique, la programmation et la musique expérimentale. Il a co-fondé l'ensemble expérimental Kinematik en 2015, avec lequel il a produit trois disques. Il est également co-fondateur de SANAM, un sextuor libanais, avec lequel il a produit Aykathani Malakon. Son deuxième album solo, Proof by Infinite Descent, est sorti en 2021 avec Beacon Sound et Ruptured. Il s'est produit aux côtés de Hans Joachim Irmler (Faust), Fadi Tabbal, Sandy Chamoun, Jad Atoui, Jawad Nawfal, Youmna Saba, Sharif Sehnaoui et Kinan Azmeh. Depuis 2018, il fait partie de Tunefork Studios, un studio sonore libanais renommé, où il travaille en tant que producteur et ingénieur du son. Il compose aussi des musiques de film, notamment en collaboration avec Cyril Aris et Ghassan Salhab, et a créé des bandes sonores pour diverses installations, telles que DreamScape de Yuri Pattison, As If No Misfortune Has Occurred in the Night de Larissa Sansour, et a réalisé (avec Aia Atoui) Shabah Al Rih.

Since 2018, he has been part of Tunefork Studios, a renowned Lebanese sound studio, where he works as a producer and sound engineer. He also composes film scores, notably in collaboration with Cyril Aris and Ghassan Salhab, and has created soundtracks for various installations, such as DreamScape by Yuri Pattison, As If No Misfortune Has Occurred in the Night by Larissa Sansour, and has directed (with Aia Atoui) Shabah Al Rih.
