Pupille

by Jeanne Herry · 107’ · France · 2018 · VFSTA

Théo was given up for adoption by his biological mother on the day of his birth. It was a birth under X. The mother has two months to reverse her decision... or not. The child welfare services and the adoption service set to work. Some had to take care of the baby, carrying him (in the full sense of the word) during this suspended time, this phase of uncertainty. The others had to find the person who would become his adoptive mother. Her name is Alice and she's been fighting for ten years to have a child.
