Arthur Simonini started studying the violin at the age of 5 and followed a classical training. He studied orchestration with Guillaume Connesson, writing with Jean-François Zygel then Pierre Pincemaille at the CNSM in Paris and jazz at the CMDL then at the CRR in Paris. He also studied sound techniques and obtained a degree in General Physics. Between 2002 and 2005, he took part in numerous orchestral concerts and recorded Georges Delerue’s Concerto de l'adieu as a soloist.
Since 2005, he has given more than 300 concerts on the 5 continents, classical, jazz, hip-hop, world music on stages such as : Jazz in Vienne, Lincoln Center, Jazz à la Villette, L'Olympia, Womad Festival, Zenith of Constantine, Los Angeles Grand Performance, the Francofolies…. As a versatile multi-instrumentalist with a knowledge of computer tools, he composes, orchestrates and produces for cinema, TV, theatre, advertising and radio. He has participated in about fifty albums, composed soundtracks including for Portrait de la jeune fille en feu by Céline Sciamma or the credits of Affaire sensible, on France Inter.
