RENDEZ-VOUS :
- Thursday 30th of March - 21h00 - Artplexe 1
In 2008, Laetitia Pansanel-Garric participated in the Master Class in music composition for image, led by Stephan Oliva and the European Market for film composition. This year, she comes back to present Le Serment de Pamfir by Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk. A brilliant drama, halfway through myth and crime, far into the rural depths of Ukraine.
Laetitia Pansanel-Garric is a film music composer, graduated from the University of Southern California and the C.N.S.M.D. of Lyon in film music composition and writing. She has signed the soundtracks of more than 70 films, including the feature film Le Serment de Pamfir by Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk, which was noted at the Directors' Fortnight of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, and À Point, a short film by Aurélie Marpeaux, which was screened at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival before its selection at the 2023 César Awards for Short Films. She received the Prize : Revelation Film Music Composer at the Festival des Arcs in December 2022. Jazz bassist, pianist and bandleader, she uses her studio as a real laboratory of sound experiments to record her instruments and use all the possible sounds of her travel companions. Faithful to the values of transmission, she divides her life between composition, teaching and the concerts she gives with the Symphony Orchestra of the University Lyon 2, which she has been conducting since 2013.
