Benjamin Bonnet, a French producer and founder of Mood Films Production in 2014, has produced several fiction short films, music videos, and an animated documentary series. Among his productions are Même pas mal by Sarah Stern, Les garçons bleus by Francisco Bianchi, and Écailles de rose by Kloé Lang.
From 2016 to 2021, he was president of the Fédération des Jeunes Producteurs Indépendants and a member of the short film committee of the Académie des César. He is currently a reader for the CNC short film commission and for the Brittany Region.
In 2023, he was elected to the board of Ecoprod, the Agence du Court-Métrage, and as president of the short film commission of Unifrance. His projects address societal and existential themes, with the goal of confronting reality through fiction.
The directors he works with are mostly from the 90s generation, a generation marked by an uncompromising exploration of adolescence, sexuality, choices, norms, and the search for meaning.
