Clémentine Charuel

Short Film Jury | Composer

Clémentine Charuel is a French composer working on all types of audiovisual projects. Whether it is the feature film Cherry (directed by Sophie Galibert, awarded at Tribeca in 2022), the short film Icarus (directed by Christos Kardana, 2025), or the series Marie Antoinette (additional music with composer Guillaume Roussel, 2022), these highly diverse projects have taken her into vastly different worlds, enriching her artistically.

She has composed music for more than twenty projects and continues to explore her creativity through various film and music genres. Her experiences across different musical spheres (classical, rock, world music) constantly inspire her to reinvent herself and experiment with new approaches to film scoring.

In 2024, Clémentine joined the César Academy. That same year, the Maison du Film selected her as a mentor for the Sésame Composer Pass, and the Orchestre Colonne commissioned her to compose the piece Ouverture on a Fragment of History, which premiered at the Salle Gaveau in Paris.
