En dépit des impératifs de rendement et du manque de moyens, il s’efforce d’apaiser leurs maux.
How can we treat well in a sick institution? In a hospital near Paris, Dr. Abdel-Kader, a liaison psychiatrist, navigates from emergencies to intensive care, from patients with mental disorders to those who are confined to bed by a chronic disease. Despite the imperatives of yield and lack of means, he tries to alleviate their ills.

Nicolas Peduzzi grandit en Italie où il entame des études de théâtre et de cinéma. Il s’installe ensuite aux États-Unis pour suivre les cours de nuit de Susan Batson et réalise alors plusieurs courts métrages autofinancés avant un premier long métrage, Southern Belle, sorti en France en 2018. Le film est présenté dans de nombreux festivals, intègre la sélection Best of doc du Mois du documentaire 2019 et remporte le Grand Prix du FID Marseille. Nicolas réalise ensuite Ghost Song, sélectionné à l’ACID en 2021 et présenté en compétition long métrage au MCM en 2022. État Limite, lauréat du Prix du Jury au CPH:DOX 2023 et présenté à l’ACID Cannes 2023, est son troisième long métrage.
Nicolas Peduzzi grew up in Italy, where he pursued studies in theater and cinema. He later moved to the United States to attend evening classes with Susan Batson and self-funded several short films before releasing his debut feature, Southern Belle, in France in 2018. The film garnered attention at numerous festivals, including being featured in the Best of Doc selection for the Mois du documentaire in 2019 and winning the Grand Prize at FID Marseille. Nicolas went on to direct Ghost Song, which was selected for ACID in 2021 and competed in the feature film category at MCM in 2022. État limite, awarded the Jury Prize at CPH:DOX 2023 and presented at ACID Cannes 2023, marks his third feature film.

Pianiste et compositeur français, Gael Rakotondrabe commence sa carrière sur la scène jazz (lauréat du Piano Solo Competition au Montreux Jazz Festival en 2008), puis étend peu à peu ses horizons à d’autres formes artistiques. Il collabore avec des artistes tels que CocoRosie, Anohni (Antony & the Johnsons), Robert Wilson, Marina Abramovic et Willem Dafoe (The Life and death of Marina Abramovic), et compose les bandes originales de films programmés à la Biennale de Venise, Cannes, Sundance et Tribeca. Son premier album en piano solo est sorti en 2023.

Since then, he has broadened his horizons to include various artistic forms. His collaborations include CocoRosie, Anohni (of Antony & the Johnsons), Robert Wilson, Marina Abramovic, and Willem Dafoe (The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic). He is the creative force behind original soundtracks featured at prestigious film festivals such as Venice, Cannes, Sundance and Tribeca.
